STUDENT DEFERMENT
 

Deferment from Course

(a) Students are to write in officially to Manager, Student Affairs stating reasons for deferment with supporting documents (E.g. official medical doctor’s letter, MINDEF ‘Call-up Letter’, etc)
 

(b) The Deferment status is subject to approval by Manager, Student Affairs on a case-by-case basis through the issue of an official ‘Letter of Approval’
 

(c) Student on deferment will have his/her vacancy retained at AMS up to a maximum period of 2 years and can return to continue his/her studies by informing the Student Administration Office personally. Students need to adhere to the academic schedule and will be advised on the earliest possible date-of-return
 

(d) Manager, Student Affairs will approve/reject refund based on AMS’s Refund Policy. Upon Approval of Refund, where applicable, AMS will expedite Refund to the student’s bank account within 60 days from the date of approval.
