TEACHING
METHODOLOGY
Courses in ArtFusion Media School are combinations of lectures,
seminars, tutorials and one-on-one reviews with our lecturers.
Students are also expected to be involved in a substantial
amount of laboratory and studio work using AMS's facilities.
Class sizes are capped at 20 students per class size with 1
lecturer per class.
CREDIT ACCUMULATING SYSTEM
All modules have an attached credit point which students will
acquire upon successful completion of the module through each
semester assessment. Student will have to achieve a total of 800
credits to pass the foundation year and 1000 credit points
during the 2nd and final year for 3D Modeling, Character
Animation and Concept Art specialisation and 1120 credits points
for Digital Visual Effects specialisation year.
ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY
Assessment criteria will be based on individual modules that
will be conveyed through individual module requirements and
project briefs. This information will be given to the individual
student during course and project commencement respectively.
TEACHING HOURS
Classes are 3 hours long and may have an interval break of 15
minutes. Students are expected to attend a total of 21 hours for
foundation year per week and 21 or 24 hours per week depending
on the course specialization selected during the second year.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
All full-time AMS students must fulfill a minimum attendance
rate of 90% for both theoretical and practical classes.
CONFIDENTIALITY ASSURANCE
AMS treats all students' data and information as private and
confidential, and are strictly used for AMS’s admission records
only. The data and information will be released to third parties
only when required by law. In accordance with Singapore's
Immigration Law, certain student data may be released to
Government authorities.
