Artfusion Media School
(recently rebranded from Egg Story Digital Arts School) is the
leading digital (3D) animation school in Singapore. Started in
July 2007, within a brief period, it has grown to a top media
school in Singapore. A high proportion of Singapore digital
media studios had some of their staff trained in the School. The
School has obtained certification of the Enhanced Registration
Framework (ERF) of CPE and received “Workforce Skills
Qualification (WSQ)” by the Work Development Authority (WDA) of
Singapore. The School has recently relocated to Fusionopolis right at the center of the creative clusters in Singapore. Many leading media companies, and potential employers of our graduates, are located at or near Fusionopolis. In addition to our own teaching labs, class rooms, facilities and exhibition space, we enjoy access to a range of other amenities in the building, including: lecture rooms, meeting rooms, reception area, sky gardens, shopping and dining, gym with swimming pool and a 400+ seat theater. We take pride in offering focused industry oriented programs highly relevant to our students’ professional development and delivering quality learning through our faculty seasoned in industries. The School offers practical oriented and leading edge training in the fields of Concept Art, 3D Modeling, Character Animation and Digital Visual Effects, with the rigor of professional studios by a faculty of proven international and local industry practitioners. We use state-of-the-art software and hardware platforms. Our real world oriented courseware, constantly updated to keep in pace with industry, is based on actual production pipeline. Our faculty members teach based on their experiences and industry practices. We are committed to providing an effective learning environment for our students' total academic and professional development. At Artfusion Media School, we recognise that skills may best be developed through close interactions with our faculty as mentors. As our focus is on producing world class graduates, each class size is limited to about 20 students per class -- with a low student to faculty ratio to ensure that sufficient attention may be devoted to coaching and impartation of skills. Currently Artfusion has a critical mass of full time and part-time lecturers, all with extensive industry experience. Many lecturers maintain their professional practices in industries so they are kept abreast of the latest industry trends and developments. As a result, our graduates are highly sought after, as evident in the very high placement rates. As an established Continuing Education and Training (CET) Centre, our school is recognized by WDA as its preferred partner to develop a strong talent pool needed to support the development of the Singapore digital media industry. Our distinctive value is recognized by our students, 20% are degree holders and 34% holders of poly diplomas. The School distinguishes itself through the practical orientation as a result of our teaching staff who have been industry practitioners.
